The Ridgefield Board of Education offers varied programs designed to meet the needs of the individual student.
The high school provides programs to prepare its graduates for college, business, or industry.

Parent-Teacher Associations: Each school has its own PTA, which is a branch of the national PTA. At the high school it is called the Parent-Teacher-Student Association. The Joint Council of PTAs brings together the presidents of each PTA, the principals and other representatives. It provides communication among administration, parents and the various PTAs. It conducts joint projects such as the school census.
